    we love it, sometime i think it is good to be prepared but a lot of times they have spent ALOT of time and money preparing for an event that isnt likely to happen in their lifetime. i did like the guy who owns the former missile launcher base that was cool, and the man that shot his thumb off while target practising with his kids and then passed out was great!

    I think it's good to be prepared but they over do it. If the world comes to an end they aren't going to be around to use any of those supplies.

    Haven't seen it yet, but I think you should be prepared for the basic things just in general…storms and power outages often occur so it never hurts to have some supplies stocked away.

    Some of them are as mad as hatters, I caught one last night that showed a man grouping up with faith healers and musicians by the looks of it. Great for learning how to forage, survive in difficult circumstances though!

    Haven't seen it, but I do know that I'll be able to survive; I have very good wildfood foraging skills. Also ( without my husband's help- he's 70, thinks everything will go on blissfully fine), I have managed to scrounge for the basic survival items.

    Doomsday Preppers is an awesome program. My 10 year old son watched the first one and thought we were barmy for taking it seriously. He is under to misguided notion that things will always be the way they are and only crazy people do any sort of preparation.

    I have mixed feelings about it. I feel that they make them look like the fringe of society, and honestly, they don't always have their facts straight when they talk about things like pandemics, etc.

    I've only seen one episode, but I thought they took an interesting approach to interviewing people about what they think is critical. The rating at the end was interesting too.
