The Ozark is a fantastic sling bag that can be used to carry a very short-term, 72 hour kit. It can easily be used as your Every-Day-Carry (EDC) bag. It is small enough to store most anywhere, but has enough molle, pockets, and connection points to carry several items for your survivability. You can also use it simply as a daypack for short trips into the woods.

  5. I will use this for dayhiking and when I go out for an EDC... I will put in some survival items like compass, hiking bars, water, etc..and some EDC items that I have... pens, multi-tool, lighter, Ibuprofen, etc.. just handy things.. I have accumulated quite a bit of these things. :)

    Ok not really. I'd but water, food, spare set of light clothes, cell phone charger, flash drive backups of my computer files, etc.

  10. I would probably use it for hiking as me and a friend go hiking once a week. I would store water/canned food/multitool/water purification tablets/emergency blanket etc....
