  1. Something one may forget in a BOB? I would say a personal item. Something that would remind me of my past , a good time. Could be a photo or a stuffed animal.

  2. Maybe a bottle of alcohol to disinfect.

  3. Something to purify water....purification tablets, filter or chemicals.

  4. If you carry bleach to purify, you may not know that it loses it's potency after several months and needs to be replaced.

  5. A flint and steel perhaps. for when you run out of matches and lighter fuel.
Lot easier to light a fire with flint and steel than one of those friction based methods like a bow or rubbing two sticks together.

  6. Most forgotten item in a bag... deck of cards or a chess/checkers set. With or without family it is important to pass the time in a way that can keep your mind off of a situation.

  7. I say a picture of your family, if you had to get home then a picture would give you the strength to move on.

  8. I would say identification of your family and yourself. Thanks!

  9. Extra batteries and all your important papers would be a great thing to take with you.
