Doomsday Giveaway for September 2014!

For September 2014, we have teamed up with Vigilant Trails once again to give away a Vigilant Trails survival fire kit.

  2. It will taste disgusting is an understatement. I would also look for gas at farms... lots of vehicles and equipment use gas and lots round here have their own tanks.

  3. My favorite is Vaseline soaked cotton balls. Works like a charm.

  4. Usually just a lighter and paper, but I much prefer flint and steel and a bit of meths (that's british for methylated spirit, not methamphetamine) :) soaked cotton wool. you get a sense of achievement doing it that way.

  12. Off brand lighters are cheap enough to have lots of them scattered about so it's easy to always have one at hand - but matches are the thing I have in the bag as a backup.
