    Oh I think its so very important! Our winters get cold with below zero temps often, and you never know when your car will breakdown. Very important to have!

    It is aways imprtant to have some kind of extra protection and a blanket does that. These mylar blankets are really good- not just for warmth but if need be protection against the elements too.

    It's just common sense to have an emergency blanket in your car- wherever you are. I have one, and I think having a few more would be good.

    They are perfect for a car emergency kit year round! Cheap, don't take much space, have multiple uses.

    I prefer to have them in both places. They don't cost a whole lot and you never know when they'll come in handy.
