It’s not wrong to feel like the world is headed in the wrong direction. Whether your belief in the upcoming end times is religious or not, many people are preparing for the worst. While doubters may not think things like survival gear are a wise investment, they may change their minds soon as a cataclysmic event happens and they can no longer rely on the government or civilization as they know to it protect them.
One thing you probably still want to still use if the worst happens is your car. With that in mind, below are five accessories for outfitting your car for the end times.
A First Aid Kit
Something you absolutely need in your car for a survivalist scenario like the end times is a first aid kit. Include everything you would need to treat injuries your family may sustain. You may even want to include things not normally included in standard first aid kids like anti-venom.
Spare Parts and Tools
If society collapses, you won’t be able to take your car to the shop. You’ll have to be your own mechanic. That includes while traveling on the road. Make sure you have some items in your trunk you can use to complete regular maintenance and make repairs. This includes everything from spark plugs to Titan Wheel Accessories and parts like lug nuts, wheel spacers and an air compressor.
Another good option is to install secret compartments on your car. There are many places on a car’s interior, or exterior for that matter, a secret compartment can be placed. There are plenty of tutorials online to show you how to install one in different places. Store something you don’t want to found by others like a weapon in this compartment.
A Water Purification System
In a survivalist scenario like the end times, one of your top concerns should be maintaining your ability to provide your family with necessities. The number one thing humans need to live is water. A water purification system stored in your car can allow you to transform any water source you find on the road into completely safe drinking water.
An Engine that Can Run on Garbage
If an apocalyptic event occurs, you can’t expect that gas will stay plentiful. In fact, it may run out in most gas stations rather quickly. This is why you should consider modifying your engine so it can also run on trash. While this may sound like something out of Back to the Future II, it is possible to convert even a standard Honda Accord engine to run on trash transformed into biofuel through a process known as gasification.
If the end times do indeed occur, you want to be prepared. This is even true in regards to your car. Consider the ideas above as well as others to accessorize your car for a possible worst case scenario.
