THIS IS AWESOME I AM TRYING TO TALK MY HUSBAND INTO BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE HOME WITH ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES.
Moral of this story – keep this stuff all packed together & ready to grab 'n go, you gain 15 minutes of valuable "git 'n go" time…ps I can take my car right?
I am just starting so I'm looking forward to figuring out what my favorite emergency food is. I'm hoping to dehydrate berries for breakfast.
Apples because they are good fresh or dried
My favorite is dried nuts and fruits as they are full of calories and the nuts have protein.

We have tons of wind power in our state I wish they would come out with a home version like the old windmills for home use.
I also like oatmeal. It "sticks to your ribs" as my mother always put it 🙂
I like oatmeal.
20 minutes? It would take 10 to gather most things but after that where do you go? I mean if is nuclear you had better bend over and kiss your butt goodbye if it is really close.
Eggs, they're just versatile and last long enough without going off if you keep them right.
One of my favorites is Spam. Yeah, yeah I know. But it's versatile, has a good shelf life, and now you can get it in single packs for your BOB.
