Stock Food

The most important step in doomsday prepping is to stockpile the proper amount of food. You should have at least three weeks of food stored in case of emergency. Plenty of Batteries

Power will be one of the most important things to have in the event of a doomsday scenario. If you want to keep your electric devices functioning, you should have plenty of batteries stored. Make sure to get all kinds of batteries to ensure that you can power any type of device that you need to use.

Store Water

Water is another crucial element for doomsday preppers to stockpile. A general rule of thumb is to store three gallons of water for every person to use for every day you expect to need it. Make sure to store this water in a cool, dark place to help keep it fresh.

Miscellaneous Supplies

Make sure to store the odds and ends that will come in handy to handle any emergency scenario. This includes things like duct tape, high quality PTFE tubing, zip ties, flashlights, paper and tools. These odds and end will come in handy when you are faced with a doomsday scenario.

Having some plywood around is always a good thing for doomsday preppers. Whether you are faced with a hurricane or bands of looters, boarding up your windows with plywood will help to secure your home during an emergency.

Guns and Ammo

Having an arms stockpile can be the difference between life and death during a disaster or other doomsday event. Make sure everyone in your family knows how to safely handle a firearm in case of emergency.

If you follow these six tips, it will give you great peace of mind. It is always best to be prepared for anything, and in this day and age that unfortunately includes being prepared for doomsday.

If you follow the six tips and have everything you need to keep your family going for an extended period of time, it wont mean much if you cant keep your goods safe and a secret. If everyone knows about how well prepared you are, you are just putting a target on you head. However, if you have somewhere to keep your goods safe that can remain completely hidden, you would be in good shape. You can get a safe room, storm shelter, or even a bunker built and it remain a secret from EVERYONE. They can have secret entrances and escape tunnels, while providing your family with security. The bunkers can even help you with an off the grid lifestyle. They are easier to get off the grid then your home. It is the ultimate buggin in tool. I was just telling my husband the other day, ample ammunition is most important commodity of all, If you've got nothing else. He chimed in that a pile of wood is important, then there are the obvious necessities like toilet paper and lip balm. Ha-Leave it to a lady to think of those things there.
